Utah Telecom Company Focuses on World Class Service with a Local Touch
Provo, Utah – March 15, 2011 – FirstDigital, a leading Utah telecommunications provider, has announced a profitable first quarter as it begins 2011 with record growth and industry leading telecommunications products.
“FirstDigital’s success has come from being the only provider to offer next generation products that lead the Utah telecommunications market,” said Drew Peterson, CEO of FirstDigital. “We continue to create and implement ways ourselves that give our customers the fastest, most comprehensive options to meet their needs.”
To ensure the future needs of its customers, FirstDigital completed an overhaul of its Provo fiber optic network to increase its efficiency by 1000 percent. This upgrade delivers 100 Mbps as its standard deployment, with the ability to increase bandwidth to 1 GIG.
This growth comes amid recognition from customers and the business community. In March, Utah Valley BusinessQ Magazine ranked FirstDigital number 17 on its Fastest-Growing Companies list for the 2011 UV50 awards. FirstDigital’s revenue grew by more than 100 percent last year, which executives attribute to its mantra of providing world-class technology and services to local customers.
The Provo School District recently selected FirstDigital to provide a better telecom system in all school buildings. In just one week, FirstDigital installed a one-gigabit network that allowed Provo School District to download and upload faster with no network downtime.
“It is important for businesses to grow at a pace they can financially afford and operationally handle. This is what FirstDigital has done in the past, and what we will do in the future,” Peterson continued. “Our accomplishments so far this year have set a high standard for our company, and we plan to exceed them in the upcoming months.”
